Kensington Palace’s social media channels have shared glimpses of William’s
engagements, as he meets young leaders committed to environmental
preservation. During his four-day stay, the Prince of Wales has begun by
connecting with 120 young environmentalists from Africa and Southeast Asia.
These emerging leaders, participating in the Earthshot Prize Climate Leaders
Youth Programme, discussed their projects and hopes for a sustainable future.
In a message from Cape Town, Prince William expressed his appreciation,
sharing, “Thank you for an incredible welcome in Cape Town; I’m already
feeling inspired after an afternoon at the first Earthshot Prize Youth Leaders
programme!”
William’s South African tour continues, showcasing the Earthshot Prize’s
commitment to empowering young climate advocates in their mission to protect
the planet.
