Royal expert Angela Levin has accused Meghan Markle of exacerbating the
rift between Prince Harry and King Charles, particularly in light of the Duke of
Sussex showing no remorse over the recent royal race controversy.
In an interview with Sky News Australia, Levin suggested that for Harry to
mend ties with the monarch, “he’s got to apologize hugely, and he’s also got
to compromise.”
Continuing, she pointed out, “He won’t compromise – he keeps saying he wants
the King and Prince William to apologize for things going right back to
childhood, when William got five sausages and he got four.”
Levin highlighted Harry’s apparent eagerness to address his issues with the
royal family but criticized his lack of quality time spent with them. “If he
wants to bring back a family argument, he has to spend time. You can’t rush
here, spend half an hour, and then rush away; it takes weeks, months even.”
The royal commentator expressed her belief that the Duke of Sussex is “very
much under Meghan’s thumb, and he will listen to what she says.”
Since Harry and Meghan’s departure from the royal palace in 2020, the couple
has strained their relationship with the royal family. From Harry’s explosive
tell-all memoir “Spare” to the recent ‘racist royals’ claims by Omid Scobie,
the pair has consistently made headlines for controversial reasons.
